The UC Cycling team is off to an excellent summer of racing! We began the summer with a team training camp in the Appalachian Mountains where we climbed over 12,000 feet in the weekend. Our trip concluded at the summit of Clingman's Dome, the highest peak in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
The following week ten riders started in the first Ault Park race series which continues over a period of six weeks. Kevin, Adam, and Aaron worked together and managed to give Paul Ryan a lead out to win the third sprint of the evening. The following week, we attended the Summer Solstice stage race in Wilmington, Ohio, with a number of strong teams including RGF Solutions Cycling Team and PA Lightening Race Team.
Some upcoming races that UC Cycling plans to participate in are the Hyde Park Blast, Tour d'Burg, Superweek Pro Tour, and Gateway Cup. Our weekly training rides will continue throughout the whole summer. For more information please check out our calendar or contact info@cincinnaticycling.com if you have any questions.
